What is this year’s theme?
THE BRAIN-MACHINE CONNECTION
Imagination and creativity beat knowledge. Transformation of healthcare doesn’t involve one single technology. There are hundreds of technologies that will impact healthcare: A.I. VR/AR/MR, Digital Therapeutics, Genomics, Blockchain, Video Games, Social Networks for Patients, and more.
What have we accomplished in digital health so far? What will the future look like in 2025 or 2045? Will cancer be eradicated? Will people live 130 years by the end of this century? Will AI bring us faster, more accurate diagnoses and more effective treatments? Will virtual reality therapies help solve the opioid crisis? Will machines make us smarter, faster, stronger? What will be the ethical implications and social impact of A.I.? Will we cure pain, mental health, obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, autism and Alzheimer’s before the end of the century?

INTERFACE Health Society, the executive producer of INTERFACE Summit 2018, is a small not-for-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC, with a big heart and big dreams. We work with a small and talented group of creative artists, a community-driven advisory board and volunteers to make INTERFACE Summit 2018 happen.
Depending on your talent and topic, you will have up to 15 minutes to share a story or 15-45 minutes to deliver a workshop, or moderate a panel. Speakers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. For speakers who cannot afford to come and share their story with our audience we will do our best to find a sponsor who can cover the travel and accommodation costs.
